Godfrey is teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level as a senior lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University.  He is the course leader for the MSc Human Resource Management programme and a distance learning course - MSc Management.  He is also involved in teaching a range of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management courses.  His research and teaching interests are in the areas of Learning & Development, People Resourcing, Managing Diversity, Work Based Learning and Research Methods He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
